Southeast Vermont CISMA

Hi Everyone,

This is a welcome invitation to folks everywhere to help with an invasive removal workday on the land of a landowner in need (in Brattleboro). The workday is scheduled for Friday, June 27th, going from 8am- noonish, followed up with a potluck/ barbecue. 

Please email Sam (SPierce@vlt.org) if you are interested in joining or have tools to lend. We would love some CISMA support at this event, and we need a decent number of folks in order to make this a productive workday. Some of the tools we need are:

·  2 or more weed wrenches

·  digging forks

·  loppers

·  shovels

·  metal tined rakes

·  lawn mower

Some other requests made by the land owner are:

·  Building raised garden beds/plots

·  Filling dirt holes/ leveling spaces

·  Chopping limbs and brush for firewood kindle (with an electric saw)

·  Sharing good seeds
